A black book of witchcraft, shimmering with a hidden light, disrupts the decaying boarding-school life she is about to enter. Hazy mists rise, a strange hourglass turns, and a new alarm bell rings. Where does the truth lie beneath the shadows?
Hourglass, witch's book... loom, truth. Every riddle twists and turns, scattering fragments through the chaos. In the end, they converge into a black shadow, spiraling overhead. A snake's tongue brushes her ear. Who laid the trap?
A girl's voice murmurs a song in the dark:
Where a paradox appears, there must be a sacrifice.
The first mystery Wednesday encountered in this world disappointed her completely. It was nothing but bait laid by an arrogant person to satisfy their own needs.
She looked at the little thing that had already stepped into the trap and ordered him to turn back before it was too late.
“You've fallen for the destructive reward set by an aesthetically challenged green question mark. It was never meant to give you a sense of value. Instead, when you can't solve the problem, it feeds on your frustration and smugly fills its own hollow emptiness.”
She walked over and kicked the Riddler's trophy into a nearby pile of trash, then turned to the little thing. “Now that's the most effective way to deal with it.”
“You abandoned your true self, the nature carved by hardship.”
Wednesday walked toward the clown, who was lying on the ground, dazed.
“You've become boring, dry, and one-dimensional, existing in this world only as a formalistic puppet driven by ‘chaos.’ Every breath you take is a demon's indulgence. You never took up any of the world's resources, because you don't exist at all.”
“You're insignificant, pitiful, and empty, with no self of your own, a walking corpse more boring than any rotten thing in any corner of the world.”
“Shut up! That's not me!” the clown screamed.
She held her black umbrella against the clown's neck.
“Who are you? A fragile puppet trapped on a fixed path, unable to escape, or a vermin the world should have erased?”
A shadow tinged with blood red slowly spread, rushing outward with the ravenous speed of a predator devouring its prey. It writhed and twisted, and an indescribable sense of terror began to grow within it.
The blood-red scene was veiled by shadows as the alien mass expanded. Space turned dark red, as though the blood had been infiltrated by poison. Gradually, the darkness took shape.
First, a deathly pale face wearing a metal-spiked visor appeared before them. Then one twisted figure after another emerged, and the Dark Batman stepped out from behind him.
They were surrounded by darkness. No, they were spreading it.
The Batman Who Laughs spread his arms. His bright red, torn smile widened in Wednesday's sight as he spoke in a warped, shrill voice: “Do you think this is still a dream?”

1. The text above is an excerpt from the story. The general synopsis is in the first section.
2. A crossover between DC and Marvel. DC comes first, and Marvel characters appear later, but DC makes up most of the story.
3. The protagonist is from the TV series Wednesday. You don't need to have seen it: I've only used the character concept, not the plot. I also drew inspiration from The Addams Family films.
4. The story is logically consistent, and the character backgrounds are my own.
5. ★ Please note! The protagonist's subjective thoughts do not necessarily represent objective facts. Also, if any of the language in the story makes you uncomfortable, consider carefully whether you want to continue reading.
6. A bizarre style, unconventional justice, and a venomous detective.
7. ★ Destruction before rebirth.
Theme: Never bow your head to fate.
Alas, this article has been opened and closed again and again. I like the writing and setting very much, but Wednesday's character design is based on the drama version, and I can't stand it 😭
I feel that Wednesday is much more familiar to me than batfamily. The characters are a little OOC, so it would be strange to bring them in. As far as this chapter is concerned, I feel that Ah Fu will not smile because of Jason's acquiescence. Ah Fu should be funny, elegant and dignified on the surface to express his joy and the happy welcome of Bruce and other family members, and skillfully resolve Jay's situation. Sen's embarrassment, and he will never take a dangerous girl home as soon as he sees it, regardless of whether she has a family or whether she is dangerous to his children. He should wait for Bruce to express his determination before silently supporting the after-sales protector Butler. Of course, this is my understanding of the Bat family and my personal opinion, which may not be completely correct.

It's so beautiful, I can't get enough of it
I rarely see people writing about The Riddler, but it's actually kind of cute when you look at it like this
It's so funny. The Riddler looks like a poor guy who has been lonely for too long.
Alas, even if the villains who come out of Gotham have their own characteristics, their basic force value is not weak. It is too realistic to crush ordinary people.
It's very cool. In various fandoms, the character can maintain his own personality and not compromise for the bats, but it doesn't avoid serious conflicts, which is rare.
Damn it, I clearly know that the current Riddler is influenced by the past, but Wednesday did not improve at all, but instead scolded him even harder, hahahaha, very unique
Looking forward to more stories on Wednesday!
