Only You in the Spring Morning

Strong and brave × composed and distinguished

An urban fairy tale/

Liang Shiwan first met Chao Xubai in the summer after the college entrance exams.

She'd received a call from Tsinghua ahead of time and made a special trip to share the good news with her mentor.

"Teacher, I got into Tsinghua!!"

Her mentor wasn't there, but in the study she found a stranger, a man with an air of refined elegance.

Liang Shiwan froze in place. "Sorry, I... Did I come to the wrong place?"

Chao Xubai didn't answer. His calm gaze rested on her for just a moment.

As though she didn't exist at all.

Liang Shiwan couldn't sleep that night.

Her mentor had left her Chao Xubai's contact information. She added him on WeChat and sent him "Good morning" and "Good night" every day, finding all sorts of ways to share little things from her life.

Chao Xubai realized that the young woman seemed to have developed feelings for him that she shouldn't. He replied, "You don't need to waste your time on me. I don't like girls like you."

His words were so blunt that Liang Shiwan hid under the covers and quietly cried.

After that, Liang Shiwan really did stop reaching out to him.

Much later, Chao Xubai was invited back to Tsinghua to give a talk. By chance, he saw another boy give Liang Shiwan flowers and a love letter. She smiled brightly at him.

Chao Xubai suddenly felt deeply annoyed and wanted to take the young woman home and give her a proper scolding.

Later on.

Liang Shiwan hid in his arms and laughed. "Do you know, Senior Brother? When we first met, you really were like a giant iceberg."

Chao Xubai sighed helplessly and kissed the tip of her nose. "Don't call me Senior Brother. Call me hubby."

The blurb may be revised again later. In one sentence: A gentle iceberg gets jealous and falls in love, in their everyday life together.

Theme: Live well
