"Silent Watch" starts from Mo Shu Village in Anqing, Anhui Province in 1865. It tells the story of a seven-year-old girl Shen Zhimo who was abducted by a foreign trafficker Thomson to San Francisco and became a "pig flower" and suffered a lot. She used the pseudonym A Yue to stick to her identity and her belief in returning home amidst the humiliation; she was successively encountered by deceivers pretending to be good people. The son Chen Mo and the cruel old bustard Jin Ma never forgot the word "" taught by their father and the Sophora japonica in their hometown; many years later, Ah Yue confirmed her life experience with an old photo of Mo Shu Village, saved enough shipping fare with her own hands, and finally embarked on a voyage back to her homeland, completing a journey home that spanned mountains and seas and stayed with her for a lifetime.

• Jin Ma: The bustard of Chunxiang Pavilion, who is cold, mean and mercenary, is the evil person who oppresses Ah Yue, and represents the evil in the suffering of the bottom.
• Chen Mo: A liar who pretends to be a kind-hearted doctor and uses sympathy to get close to Ah Yue, but actually harbors evil intentions and is a false savior who disappoints Ah Yue again.
