After successfully dealing with the aftermath of the Bloodstained Knight Roland, Varka stayed in Nod-Krai for a while. He had planned to clear away the remaining Abyssal threats and then head back to Mondstadt, but one night, while drinking aboard the flagship until late, he was caught in a botched assassination attempt.

Fortunately, Varka's loyal ally among the Lightkeepers, Flins, happened to be there, and the two of them easily dealt with the crisis.

But the next morning, Varka had completely forgotten the night of the assassination. He mistakenly thought he'd gotten intimate with Flins while drunk.

Varka: "O Barbatos, as a responsible knight, I should prepare a grand wedding for Flins and exchange vows before everyone..."

Flins raised a hand to cover his mouth, his smile tinged with amusement. "Mr. Varka, what are you talking about? Nothing happened between us."

Varka: "???"

Flins: "Or is it that, in your subconscious, you wish something had happened between us?"

Flins, who had been passing by before getting caught, smiled politely. "...The last part is the real point, isn't it?"

Varka, who had been caught alongside him, laughed without a moment's hesitation. "Of course, first you start a family with a Snezhnayan partner!"
