After her girlfriend cheated on her and Lin Jianqiu caught them in bed together, she thought their breakup would be the end of it. But after a series of twists and turns, she’s now going on the same dating reality show as her ex, and has even been told they’ll have to fake a couple image together?
Lin Jianqiu is a rookie who’s only just debuted. She doesn’t have much say in the matter, so she can only grit her teeth and deal with the production team and her ex. The one bright spot is that she’s gotten to know the socially anxious assistant who works for her ex.
Wen Jingshu has social anxiety. Her biggest dream is to find a job that doesn’t require her to leave home and meet people. Being an influencer’s assistant is a messy, troublesome job, but at least she only has to look after one person. Unfortunately, her boss, Jiang Mengyao, is a brash and arrogant influencer who does whatever comes into her head without thinking about the consequences.
Just cleaning up after her leaves Wen Jingshu frazzled, but at least Jiang Mengyao is willing to stick to the persona Wen Jingshu wrote for her.
Wen Jingshu thought she’d keep doing this job forever, until she met Lin Jianqiu.
Lin Jianqiu was reeking of alcohol at the time. Like a drunken nuisance, she insisted on forcing Wen Jingshu to exchange contact information.
Lin Jianqiu was like an excitable big dog, refusing to leave her alone and even offering her remarkably generous terms to poach her.
From then on, Wen Jingshu’s life became a routine of accompanying Lin Jianqiu on set, driving her to events, and personally coaching her on how to fake a CP with someone else.
Lin Jianqiu blinked pitifully. "Would you really let me sell a CP with another woman?"
Later, Wen Jingshu accidentally came across Lin Jianqiu and Jiang Mengyao arguing furiously in the hallway. It seemed they were... fighting over her?
