I Made the Serene Buddhist Prince Fall in Love and Chase After Me

Just a moment ago, Yue Xian, the Matchmaker, was drinking fine wine with Yang Jian and the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, shamelessly boasting that he would tie Yang Jian and his dog, Xiaotian, together with a red thread. The very next moment, he received an urgent report that the Tree of Love and Fate had been destroyed.

The Tree of Love and Fate is the foundation of every bond in the world. Once destroyed, all feelings between people would cease to exist.

This included friendship, romantic love, and familial love.

To save all the world's love and affection, Yue Xian sacrificed his life. He was reborn as a fox and rescued by Cheng Chimo, a Buddhist cultivator who had renounced love and cherished purity. Cheng Chimo named him "Snowfall Fruit."

Together, they traveled through the mortal world, helping restless spirits find peace, resolving the obsessions of evil spirits, and dealing with magical creatures.

As they journeyed together, they developed feelings for each other. But the Buddhist cultivator was bound by his precepts and couldn't return those feelings.

Only when "Snowfall Fruit" sacrificed himself to save Cheng Chimo was he willing to break his precepts and admit whom he loved.

When they met again, Snowfall Fruit had become Yue Xian, the Matchmaker. He was accompanied by the mood-killing Nezha and Xiaotian.

But Cheng Chimo ignored the two of them and chose to stay by Yue Xian's side, protecting him.

Yue Xian ignored him, but Cheng Chimo doggedly pursued him, insisting that no one else would do.

Their reunion was the greatest fate Heaven could grant them. Cheng Chimo refused to let go again. Even though Yue Xian never responded, he was content to follow behind him.

But things began to feel increasingly strange. Yue Xian couldn't shake the feeling that he and Cheng Chimo had met somewhere before.

A Matchmaker who loves versus a Buddhist cultivator without love.
