* Setting and stage: The story takes place at Chongwen High School, a prestigious municipal school where college admission rates and competition results reign supreme. It may look like an ivory tower, but in reality it is a microcosm of class and status. The campus is divided into the "Tsinghua and Peking University Prep Class" and the "Regular Class," with rigid barriers between them.
* Male Lead, Shangguan Ye, the blazing fire: Chongwen High School's notorious "little devil," a pampered young master from Beijing's elite circles. He is unruly and rebellious, never hesitating to fight, yet has no interest whatsoever in dull textbooks. His passion is like a wildfire that cannot be extinguished. He seems carefree and irreverent, but deep down he desperately longs for someone to see through his disguise and pull him out of the void.
