I Adopted a Tentacle Pet in a World of Strange Tales

Ning Qingxia feels that the real world is getting stranger and stranger.

Sometimes, a huge white eye with an empty hole in its center suddenly appears on a streetlight pole downstairs from her apartment building.

Sometimes, the faces of her boss and coworkers inexplicably disappear.

Even the food delivery guy sometimes turns bizarre and terrifying.

Worst of all, the stray cat adoption agreement she just signed keeps turning the cats she adopts into strange black writing.

The pet carrier delivered the next day has also become a sealed black cage that cannot be opened.

In the middle of the night, a soft, delicate sensation crawls up her arm. She jolts awake and opens her eyes. A translucent, snow-white tentacle reaches out of the cage and gently waves at her.

Clutched in the tentacle is a sheet of paper, on which large red words are scrawled crookedly.

"Human, me, come out?"
