Initial D: Prime Number 17

I pushed open the car door with my right hand, grabbed my schoolbag with my left, then kicked the door shut behind me.

As my brother, who works at a magazine, leaned out of the car window and roared, "Kaori, if you keep slamming the car door like that, next time you'll take the train to school by yourself!" I headed for the high school gates.

I passed the campus greenery and all sorts of things that couldn't exactly be called pleasing to the eye, then stepped into a building that wasn't exactly ugly, just thoroughly ordinary. I changed my shoes, tossed the envelopes stuffed into my shoe locker, and walked into the classroom. Then I slumped over my desk, clutching my stomach and groaning.

"Big brother, you bastard, go take a trip to the Sanzu River... Damn it, the car was going so fast, you should be impressed I even remembered to close the door!"

My friend beside me tapped away at her phone and retorted without even looking up.

"Kaori, everyone in class knows you get carsick no matter how fast the car is going~"

"Go to the Sanzu River."

PS1: Siblings are the best.

PS2: The character I'm shipping myself with in this story is Keisuke Takahashi.

PS3: The only reason I'm shipping myself with Keisuke Takahashi is that, compared with Ryosuke Takahashi, a character template that appears in Taiwanese romance novels all the time, I really do like Keisuke Takahashi's character template best as a male lead >\\\\\\<

PS4: My USB drive got formatted. Remembering the original plot is just painful, no explanation needed.

PS5: Content tags are all just for show. I just think this gives it more of that Taiwanese romance novel self-insert feel.

[I made the cover myself. I think it's so clean and simple that it's absolutely perfect >\\\\\\\
