A chance encounter in Canglan City brings Tang Xiao and Cui Ling together. Tang Xiao has always been attracted to men, so how could he possibly let Cui Ling slip away? He falls in love at first sight and secretly watches him. Even when his first confession fails, it only motivates Tang Xiao to keep trying. After his unrelenting efforts, the two eventually get together.

Let me make this clear: Cui Ling doesn't accept Tang Xiao because Tang Xiao took two knife blows for him, nor does he agree out of gratitude.
