Meng Sui is having a complete meltdown.
Three minutes ago, she was giddy because she had lent her crush, Song Zhaoye, a book.
Three minutes later, she realized that the yellow notebook on her desk was missing. It seemed she had slipped it into the book she'd lent Song Zhaoye.
Help! That notebook was full of explicit smut based on her and Song Zhaoye, the kind that would get banned if she posted it on a website!
Meng Sui clutches her phone, at a loss.
But from the way she knows Song Zhaoye, she doesn't think he's the type to snoop through someone else's things.
After hesitating for a long while, she finally types a few words to test the waters:
[Did you see a yellow notebook?]
[I did.]
[Your writing's pretty good.]
Usually, getting a message from him would keep Meng Sui awake with excitement. Now she just wants to bash her head in.
Unable to face him, she simply sends Song Zhaoye to her block list.

After blocking Song Zhaoye, Meng Sui is beside herself.
That man is just too damn charming. She really doesn't want to give up on him.
But after what happened, she has no idea what to do, so she can only go online and ask strangers for help.
Perhaps because the whole thing is so outrageous, her post gets quite a bit of attention.
But every top comment just says "hahahaha," and one person even calls her the "Lust Emperor."
What nonsense! She's clearly an innocent young woman!
Meng Sui sighs, but keeps scrolling through the comments, hoping to find something useful among all the gloating.
A familiar username and profile picture catch her eye.
[Unblock him first.]
She remembers she never mentioned in the post that she'd blocked him. How does this person know?
And why do this username and profile picture look exactly like those of her crush?

One night later, the room is dim, lit only by the small bedside lamp.
Meng Sui pants as she hears the man above her read aloud, word by word, what she wrote. Her face burns red.
She tries to cover Song Zhaoye's mouth, pleading, "Stop reading."
But Song Zhaoye chuckles and whispers in her ear, "Baby, how can you write it if you don't dare to hear it?"
Message: Look ahead. The light is right there.
