Yu Ximu's peaceful office-drone life is completely upended by an anonymous package.
Inside is a vintage doll dressed in a modern Chinese-style suit. Its long hair falls softly, and its features are so exquisite it looks almost human. The only odd thing is its pitch-black eyes. Looking into them gives you an unsettling feeling.
Yu Ximu assumes someone sent it to the wrong address and contacts the courier to have it returned.
The next day, the doll appears inside his rental apartment.

What the hell, this place is haunted!!!
Yu Ximu refuses to believe in ghosts. He throws it in the trash, sinks it to the bottom of a river, cuts it to pieces, and burns it... He tries every way he can think of to get rid of it, but the doll still reappears in his room, completely unharmed, the next day.

Since he can't get rid of it, he decides to leave it alone. After a peaceful week, he starts having strange dreams at night. Every time he wakes up, they feel incredibly real, as if they actually happened.
Then one day, his dream comes true!
