[Small-Town Fiction] A carefree wanderer × a sweet wildflower
*
Bai Qiu wanders from place to place until she reaches a small town in the north. She walks into a tailor shop looking for apprentices, hoping to find somewhere to settle for a while.
Next door is a hair salon run by the old tailor's granddaughter. The young woman's name is Jiang Xin, and she's just like her name: fiery and sharp-tongued.
As it happens, Bai Qiu loves getting involved with women who are hard to handle.
She spends three seasons here: autumn, winter, and spring. When she leaves, she asks Jiang Xin to cut off her long hair.
*
They both make their living with scissors. How much more elevated can a tailor be than a hairdresser?
Oh, she's joined a fashion company now, so she can't be called a tailor anymore. She's a fashion designer.
Jiang Xin thinks resentfully, Other people have invited me to style hair at a fashion studio too. What makes me any worse than her?
Bai Qiu, you coward. If you don't dare to love me, then I don't want you either!
What's the big deal!
I, Jiang Xin, am the most fiery and the most capable, wherever I go!
*
She's left many places, always waving goodbye without a second thought. But never before has she felt so reluctant to leave as she does this time, leaving the small town where wild ginger flowers bloom.
Jiang Xin is fiery. Jiang Xin is sweet. Jiang Xin grows wild and free. She misses her so much.
