Chen Huai and Wu Yu, whose two yards are separated by a wall, grew up together.
Chen Huaipi, Wu Yuwen. Chen Huai got into trouble, and Wu Yu took care of it for him. Chen Huai refused to do his homework, so Wu Yu forced him to do it. Both of them thought they would pass the exam together and see the world on the other side of the mountain together.
The accident happened when I was fourteen years old. Chen Huai's parents and Wu Yu's father died in the same car accident. Wu Yu's mother was already ill and passed away a few days after hearing the bad news. Two families, two yards, and only two teenagers were left overnight. Chen Huai's family's tea plantation was bought by his uncle at a low price, while Wu Yu's family's tea plantation and debts all fell on his shoulders.
"You study and I provide for you." Wu Yu said.
Chen Huai was admitted to the County No. 1 Middle School and then to a university in Shanghai. Wu Yu stayed in the village, growing tea, supporting his family, and paying off debts. He started an e-commerce business with an old computer and slowly sold tea to all parts of the country. Thousands of miles apart, the calls between the two became shorter and shorter, and the silence became longer and longer. Chen Huai thought they were going further and further away, and Wu Yu thought he would never come back.
After seven years of ups and downs in the workplace, Chen Huai fell into a panic amid the wave of layoffs in large factories. He dragged his suitcase back to the village entrance and opened the courtyard door. Wu Yu just said lightly, "You are back."
Wu Yu bought back the tea mountain that his family had sold and engraved their names on the same brand. Those unspoken words, the days and nights that have passed, have turned into a ridge of new shoots on the tea mountain.
This is a story about returning home. No matter how high the paper airplane flies, there will be a day when the wind stops. And where the wind stopped, someone was waiting for him to land.
Intent: This is a story about two teenagers who carry their own weight and move forward after their destinies diverge, and ultimately reach the same destination through different paths.
