What do you do when you transmigrate to another world as a villain, then suddenly realize you’re in a shonen manga?
You, trying to kill the protagonist: Thanks for asking. I’m currently locked in a battle of wits with a detective who just won’t stay dead.
You saw the depths of human evil in the abyss and tried to take this rotten world down with you. Then one day, you found a litter of cats you couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard you tried.
All right, maybe the plan can be put on hold for a little while! ... Anyway, delaying it is safer. It’s definitely not because I want to be a cat person!
Later, when you start feeling a little differently about one of the cats: “...” A nonhuman, huh? I guess that could work.
Later still, after learning that the cats are famous beloved characters from the shonen manga, you feel inexplicably disappointed and a little speechless. “So my corruption level only went down because I kept cuddling cats? Then am I a cat lover or a people lover... I can’t even look at myself anymore, aaah...”
The ‘cats’ you’ve cuddled from beginning to end pull pained expressions. “...So, do you know what we had to go through to save the world?”
-
You hate humanity, but you fall for a cat.
Your cat is special. He is upright, kind, and gentle... All those wonderful qualities draw you in. Raised with a warped set of values, you obsessively want to make him yours, yet as your feelings gradually spiral out of control, you grow more and more insecure.
I really love you.
But what am I supposed to do? Someone like me... doesn’t deserve you.
You can neither take a single step closer to him nor leave him completely.
I know this is one-sided, but please bear with me for now. When the day comes that I die, I’ll let go of your hand.

After their deaths, Morofushi and his fellow officers become a young man’s pet cats with the help of the System. If they can lower the young man’s corruption level to zero, they’ll get the chance to come back to life.
At their first meeting, Morofushi and the others stare at the 99.99% corruption level above the young man’s head. Remembering the System’s warning that a full corruption gauge leads to the world’s destruction, they ask, “...” Is there any hope, System?
This young man radiates danger. He’s the hardest kind of yandere to deal with!
As a Public Security police officer, Morofushi makes up his mind: You’re going to destroy what I’ve sworn to protect with my life, so even if I have to kill you, I’ll complete the mission.
Later, as they spend time together, Morofushi gradually falls for him. How could he ever kill him?
His colleague Hagiwara jokes, “Little Morofushi is totally the type who’d graciously congratulate someone for stealing the person he loves.”
Is that so?
Morofushi isn’t sure. He only knows that every moment he watches the young man head toward self-destruction, he struggles to suppress a feeling he’s never known before: a frenzied... possessiveness.
[Highlights]
① The pairing is Hiro. Cat!Keigo is the top, and they’re very much in love. Happy ending.
② This isn’t a lighthearted story. It may be dark, depressing, and intense.
③ The protagonist is beautiful, strong, and tragic, with mental illness and a few screws loose. There may be multiple one-sided crushes. ShinRan and Heiwa won’t be broken up, but the rest is hard to say. Lots of introspection.
④ A crossover of Detective Conan, Bungou Stray Dogs, and ID:INVADED. The main setting is the Detective Conan universe. Some background elements draw on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story collections and their TV adaptations, but no original storylines are involved. You can enjoy this without knowing them.
⑤ Anything that differs from the original works is my own setting. If all of that sounds okay, I hope you enjoy reading.
Theme: Even in dire circumstances, keep growing.
Oh no, oh no, the blackening value has been reduced by half, victory is close at hand!
