You Orthodox Sect Types Sure Know How to Have Fun

Bai Jinglan has to disguise herself as a man to inherit a supreme sword technique.

Ye Zhili was afflicted with a strange kind of Gu poison as a child and has to disguise himself as a woman.

To keep their secrets from being exposed, they keep a low profile in their sect and never draw attention to themselves.

Until the sect assigns them a mission:

Pose as a married couple and infiltrate the Demon Sect.

The mission concerns the supreme sword technique Bai Jinglan is cultivating, so she has to go.

The Demon Sect holds clues to the Gu poison Ye Zhili has been desperately searching for, so he has to go.

So a woman disguised as a man and a man disguised as a woman become a fake couple.

Later on...

The best swordsman under heaven, the "Jinglan Sword," changes sex!

The Demon Sect members: Then what about his Dao companion, Fairy Zhili?!

The aloof, otherworldly Fairy Zhili changes sex too!

The Demon Sect members: "???"
