[Detective Conan] Pluck the Flower While It Is Still in Bloom

Jinpei Matsuda romance

The Jinpei Matsuda IF route in A World with Rei Furuya Is in Color. The side story officially begins after the Ferris wheel case.

"You" chose to follow Rei Furuya because his colors were beautiful. Your original reason for getting to know his classmates was "to protect the people Rei left in the light for him."

The curly-haired police officer, growing more mature by the day, thinks it over: I'm the one who's acting a little strange. It's not like I want to pluck that flower.

Later: "There's something I think you should know."

Completely, utterly, direct.

About how people who speak plainly about their feelings say what they mean.

Don't wait until the flowers are gone to pick a branch.

Your character: In her previous life, she was classmates with Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri. The Jujutsu Kaisen world only appears in flashbacks.

I write purely for my own enjoyment. Any out-of-character writing is on me. Thanks for reading. If you like it, I'm honored. If not, feel free to close the page. No unsolicited writing advice, please.

Theme: Two people who are both direct about their feelings.
