Reborn at the End of the World, I Fell for a Cockroach Spirit

The day I met up with my online boyfriend in person, two cockroach antennae suddenly sprouted from his head.

The worst part was that they kept twitching. He asked me hesitantly,

"Baby, if I'm not human, would you still love me?"

I'm from Guangdong, so I was terrified. I turned and ran, blocking him as I went.

I hadn't gotten far when the zombie virus broke out and the whole city fell.

My younger brother snatched my last supplies and sneered, "Just help us hold them off, bro."

My childhood friend stood beside him and kicked me toward the horde.

The zombies' howls drowned out my screams.

At the last moment, a black tide of cockroaches descended from the sky. He fought his way to me, covered in blood, only to find half my corpse.

When I opened my eyes again, I had been reborn.

Standing before me was the same giant cockroach, nervously rubbing his antennae.

I grabbed his hand. "Even if you're a cockroach, I still love you."
