[Two Female Leads] [Nonhuman Characters] [Two Powerful Leads] [Zombies] [Both Inexperienced] [Happy Ending]
The strongest ability user x the strongest ability
In her previous life, Bai Cangqi did everything she could for the Central Base. But her family members kept dying one after another for reasons she couldn't understand. She couldn't make sense of it until she was framed, imprisoned in a research institute, and forced to separate from her ability. Countless experiments were conducted on her and her ability. At last, Bai Cangqi found an opportunity to take her own life, and her ability went berserk, burning the entire research institute to the ground.
She opens her eyes again, reborn one week before the zombie crisis begins.
In this life, she will protect her family at all costs, and send every one of her enemies from her previous life straight to hell.
On the surface, she's the calm and powerful user of the strongest ability. In private, she's a lovesick fool whose every thought is about snuggling up to her beautiful wife. Bai Cangqi takes care of everything from getting dressed to putting on makeup, and even arranges for Qi Linhuai to be kept safe during zombie fights, seated on the one clean patch of ground she's specially cleared amid the ruins. Everyone thinks Qi Linhuai is just a kept woman who seduced Bai Cangqi somehow.
Until the zombies besiege the city, and the princess leaves the protection of her knight to go alone to the precarious city wall, which is on the verge of being breached.
Afterward, stories of the knight's deeds and the princess's fame spread for a very long time.
