[Cooking up some Avatar: The Last Airbender fanfic]
[Hunter x Hunter arc]
Not long after witnessing the massacre of his clan, Kurapika met a blind child on the streets of a small town. She frowned, looking helpless and lost, and he stopped in his tracks.
She reminded him of the friend he'd lost. A sudden sense of responsibility made him take in the child, who called herself Toph.
He could protect her, making up for his regret at being unable to protect his friend.
At least, that's what he thought before he saw Toph stomp her foot and send a whole gang of thugs flying.
She turned around and raised her chin at him with a triumphant grin.
[Jujutsu Kaisen arc]
The Zenin clan had no place for failures. A woman's only worth was as someone's appendage. These were the beliefs that shaped the first thirteen years of Zenin Naoya's life.
Every so often, the Zenin clan would hire female servants. The new maid had no manners at all. How dare she walk in front of him?
"Hey, did you never learn any manners?" Zenin Naoya said, planning to teach her a lesson. But she raised her head and "looked" at him first.
Blind?
Why would the Zenin clan hire a cripple as a servant?
But when she thoroughly overpowered him with her moves in the training ground, he finally realized just how wrong he'd been.

Eight-year-old Toph of the Northern Water Tribe was most troubled by her parents not letting her go outside. While learning earthbending from the blind badgermoles, she let her attention slip and ended up in another world.
She couldn't speak the language and had no idea where she was. Anyone else might have been terrified, but she adapted just fine. She even made plenty of friends: a survivor of the Kurta clan, the son of an assassin family, and an islander from some unknown island.
Gon: It's Whale Island!
All in all, her adventures in another world were thrilling, exciting, and incredibly fun!
