Pillow of the Bright Moon in the Empty Mountains

Qing Heng is the last Moon Spirit in the world. For a thousand years, she has lived on Wuwang Mountain, accompanied by the wind in the pines and drinking the mountain dew, with the moon for a pillow and no ties to the mortal world.

Her heart is like a cold pool, untouched by joy or sorrow. All she does is guard the seal beneath the mountain and suppress the demonic calamity that has been bound there for a thousand years.

Then one day, Xie Linzhou, an immortal banished to the mortal world, shattered the mountain's mist and came to the empty mountain, his whole being aglow with pure light.

He said he had sought her through three lifetimes, and would lead her out of her lonely prison.

When they first met, he was gentle and refined, drawing closer step by step, while she was cold and distant, retreating step by step.

But fate could not be defied. The seal weakened, the demons returned, and the mortal world was in danger.

Qing Heng had no choice but to leave the empty mountain and enter the mortal world with him, to face the tribulations of love and cut through the thorns along the road ahead.

She once believed that resting beneath the moon on the empty mountain would be her destiny.

She never knew that one journey through the mortal world, one glimpse of Xie Lang, would bind her to him for life, and save her for life as well.

The wind in the pines remains, and the moon is as it ever was. But at last, after a thousand years of loneliness, one person has brought her warmth.
