Ji Jiayin, who rose to fame through a talent competition, is a notorious, much-hated star in the entertainment industry. She joins a reality show about “marrying into” a rural family.
Her “mother-in-law” torments and mistreats her, her ordinary “husband” watches her like a hawk, the village is rife with gossip, and malicious posts about her are everywhere...
But none of it compares to her domineering boyfriend turning a blind eye.
Murdered, she is reborn.
The sweet, innocent act is over. Yu Huandi says, “President Fu and I grew up together. You're just a substitute.”
The scumbag falls in love again. Fu Weiyan says, “Ji Jiayin, I lost you.”
The villainess grins. “Wild roses climb and cling to walls. Everything that happens just helps me rise.”
Later, a legend is born in the entertainment industry. All anyone can see is her ambition to climb higher.
Theme: This creeping vine is supple and pliant, growing by clinging to walls, and so it is called the wall rose.
