Tang Zhongpei thinks he’s incredibly unlucky.

It’s bad enough that he transmigrated to another planet, but then he ran into a psycho.

The psycho is gorgeous, but acts like he has split personalities.

One moment, he coldly says he’s going to get rid of Tang Zhongpei; the next, he’s running his hands all over him.

But just when Tang Zhongpei thinks he’s done for, the man pulls him back from the brink of death.

Tang Zhongpei wants to escape and go home, but he’s threatened into joining the psycho on his missions.

By a stroke of luck, he figures out that the psycho is actually this planet’s commander.

Tang Zhongpei is utterly despairing. All he did was fail the college entrance exam and have to retake it. How did he end up in this situation?

Xia Xuanyu wasn’t originally in charge of this mission.

According to the plan, his older brother was supposed to lead it.

But Xia Xuanyu likes this human they picked up far too much.

His brother is always cautious. He thinks that when dealing with Earthlings, they should put them at ease while keeping a necessary distance.

Xia Xuanyu doesn’t quite agree.

He thinks that if you want to get to know someone, you should be your real self.

So before the Earthling woke up, he got ready himself.

He put on his favorite short black leather jacket, adjusted the collar just right, then made a special trip to the secondhand market and picked out a revolver, once popular on Earth centuries ago, from a pile of discarded collectibles.

That should make a good first impression.

But things didn’t go that way.

The first time Tang Zhongpei saw him after waking up, he looked at him like a kidnapper.

At mealtimes, the boy clutched his chopsticks as if ready to deliver his last words at any moment.

When asked to cooperate with a medical examination, he looked ready to cry.

The human wants to go home, but they still have a mission and need his cooperation.

Just then, Xia Xuanyu suddenly remembered the second rule his brother had told him:

If the other person won’t cooperate, you need to “apply a little pressure.”

He hesitated, then drew his gun.

“Are you ready to cooperate with the mission now?”

Sure enough, the human looked even more terrified.

Xia Xuanyu was a little discouraged. This had to be his brother’s fault.

But he quickly rallied.

It didn’t matter if he’d made a bad first impression.

He lowered his head and wiped his folding knife, thinking that they still had a long, long time together on future missions.

The only regret was that this human seemed to have mistaken him for his older brother.

P.S.

1. One-on-one, both leads have no past relationships, happy ending. The top isn’t a general, marshal, or commander. The romance develops slowly at first. Not quick transmigration, no System. A traditional interstellar road-trip adventure with mystery and suspense.

2. To balance the story, I’ll include sweet scenes in the author’s notes.

Theme: One day, we will cross the galaxy, defeat disease, and even escape death… But if by then we have forgotten how to love, we will only have carried our loneliness somewhere farther away.
