A weird game is going viral on the internet. Players only need to log in at midnight and they will automatically be divided into two camps: "Pursuers" and "Escapers". There is only one rule: use all means to make the other party "out" in reality.
At first, it seemed like a thrilling urban legend. Until a player was found unconscious in front of his home computer, with dilated pupils and a weird smile hanging on the corner of his mouth. Autopsies revealed that they experienced fear and ecstasy that far exceeded their physiological limits during "play time."
What is even more shocking is that the last location where all victims logged in pointed to the same abandoned building that did not exist. When investigators followed the IP address to find it, they found only a dusty mirror. In the mirror, their own reflections were slowly pulling out a familiar smile that did not belong to them.
The police characterized it as a collective psychological suggestion incident. But a few insiders opened their mobile phones tremblingly, and the screen dimly lit up. The icon of the game that had been removed from the shelves appeared again in the corner of the desktop at some point. Under the icon, a line of small words appeared like blood: "Currently online: 658, 241 people. A new round is about to begin. You have been selected as an 'Observer'."
However, the truth is definitely not that simple.
Intention: No matter how advanced technology is, people are still people and cannot become vassals of technology.
