The Last Light of Sunset (Irish History)

Ireland, late tenth century.

Brian, the young lord of the Dal Cais, sets out to complete the ogham tally of his late brother, Lachtna.

With his companions, he crosses vast peat bogs to Bru na Boinne, where pagans run rampant,

seeking steel swords and iron ingots to protect his clan's hearth and palisade.

Assassins, dead flesh, collapsing stone walls...

And the mysterious woman spewed forth from the underground chamber of the ancient Tuatha De Danann gods.

How will the lock of fate finally click shut?

A self-indulgent work inspired by the historical figure Brian Boru.
