[Adorable Nonhuman Jelly Top x Tsundere Dragon-Aura Hero Bottom]
In 20XX, the Weird descended, and the Weird Tide swept across the world. Countless humans were devoured by the monsters, while the flame of civilization flickered on the verge of extinction.
The ace of the Yan Nation's Dragon Group was entrusted with a mission in a time of crisis. Leading a team deep into the Weird Tide, he carried out a decapitation strike to deal a devastating blow to the Tide's invasion of Yan Nation and win precious breathing room for humanity's scientific research and development.
Unexpectedly, a traitor was hiding in the team. The ace was secretly betrayed by the Descent faction and fell right into an ambush set by the Weird King. Gravely wounded, he vanished without a trace, his life or death unknown.
The traitor struck again, leading the Yan Nation's authorities to conclude that the legendary hero had died in the line of duty, hoping news of his death would break the fighting spirit of humanity's remaining forces.
The entire Yan Nation mourned as the memorial service was underway.
Meanwhile...
Deep in ???, in a place no human detector could observe.
"Hey, everyone! I found a Dodo too! Today is my fifth day with Dodo. I followed an online tutorial and made a new kind of love-filled pet meal. They say all Dodos love it, so let's see whether my Dodo eats it today~"
In the video, a pink-and-blue, bouncy jelly-like nonhuman floated through the air. Cheerfully lifting a huge platter of "worm jerky party mix," it flew toward the human curled up in the corner of a pool.
This handsome, dragon-aura hero had bloodshot eyes and was cursing up a storm. Even after soaking in the water until every muscle had turned waterlogged and bloated, his "peerless beauty" remained undiminished. He was none other than the former ace of the Yan Nation's Dragon Group, who had supposedly "died in the line of duty."
"Here comes your yummy food~" The jelly nonhuman shoved the loving pet meal in front of the human. "Go on, enjoy it to your heart's content~"
[Comments: Wow, Dodo stopped hissing at the uploader today and started eating! As expected, no Dodo can resist worm jerky.]
[Comments: It's eating so slowly. Biologically speaking, a Dodo of its size shouldn't eat this slowly, should it? It doesn't seem to like the food much.]
[Comments: I'm dead, this Dodo is so cute. It started dozing off while eating!]
"Sigh." The jelly nonhuman in the video sighed sadly. "I don't know why, but my Dodo keeps getting sleepy these past few days and still refuses to go to sleep."
[Comments: Dodo just arrived in a new environment, so it's probably too wary to sleep. It should be fine after a while.]
[Comments: The Dodo you found always curls up in that corner of the pool. It really does seem timid.]
[Comments: Could the habitat be unsuitable? Should it be kept in a cage instead of in a pool?]
[Comments: Smooth Dodos like this are all kept in water. Only fluffy Dodos should be kept in cages.]
[Comments: Maybe the water is too cold?]
[Comments: This Dodo has fur in a few places. Could it have been covered in fur before, but lost it all when it transmigrated through the rift? And then the uploader kept it soaking in a pool for five days and wondered why it wouldn't sleep in the water?]

[Comments: That's shocking! Everyone, look closely at the video. Dodo's claws are dug into the cracks between the stone tiles in its usual corner of the pool. It basically hasn't let go once!]
[Comments: Hahahaha, the cracks between those tiles are obviously way wider than the ones nearby because it dug them out.]
[Comments: The uploader's Dodo: Guess why I keep hissing at the uploader? It's not that I don't want to sleep. I'm afraid I'll sink to the bottom and drown if I fall asleep.]
[Comments: I'm dying of laughter.]
[Comments: Is that really funny? All I know is that another uploader has joined the ranks of the heartless pet owners in the Dodo-keeping community.]
1. This is a comedy novel with *lots of dark humor*. The main plot is "a nonhuman films and shares its daily life raising a human."
2. The top and bottom cannot understand each other's language at first. Jelly creatures are insensitive to sound, and their way of communicating is vastly different from and far more complex than humans'. They need to use a special system of magical energy organs. Jellies call the foreign species they find "Dodos" because they lack the magical energy organs needed to communicate with them and cannot learn their complex language.
3. In their normal state, jellies are only as big as a ball, but they can grow huge by drinking more water, wrapping their beloved Dodo up completely, and kissing, pinching, and smooching them from every angle.
4. The top is a kindhearted, soft and squishy little pink-and-blue jelly. When it sees comments saying it "kindly abuses Dodo," it cries late at night and gets emo, then seriously drinks water until it grows big enough to wrap its Dodo up completely, kissing, pinching, and smooching it from every angle to show it how much it loves it.
5. The bottom is a handsome, tsundere, muscular guy, over 190 cm tall and originally weighing over 200. After being carefully raised by the little top for a while, he has successfully slimmed down to over 180.
6. One-on-one, permanently together. No splitting them up or reversing the pairing. Happy ending.
