This novel is also known as: Suna Rintaro Wants Me to Confess
Amamiya Akira is an ordinary middle school student in Tokyo. His daily routine is going to school, working a part-time job, then coming back to help his older brother at the shop. His life motto is to take things as they come, and his personal mantra is to coast along. His perpetually displeased-looking eyes suit him perfectly.
Then one day, a tall boy walked into Cafe Leblanc. He had two moles above his forehead and slightly wavy black hair, making him look just like a big cat. He was incredibly hot.
"Hello, could I have a coffee, please?" Suna Rintaro took a seat at the counter.
Amamiya Akira: There really is someone this beautiful in the world.
After finding out what school the other boy attended, Amamiya Akira burned the midnight oil and studied tirelessly. At last, he got into Itachiyama, just as he had hoped, and became the senpai's devoted little sidekick.
The problem was, his senpai loved volleyball a little too much. This troubled Amamiya Akira, so he decided to become a setter in order to work his way into every aspect of Suna's life.
Why?
Because setters have to move the least, of course!
Suna could only feel that Itachiyama was getting farther and farther from the other high school in Tokyo.
Before You Read:
1. The only series in this crossover are Persona 5 (possibly P1 too, but you don't need to have read it) and Haikyuu!! Persona 5 plays a very small part, mainly serving to shape the protagonist's family background. There are major character pairings, so proceed at your own discretion.
2. The protagonist is the pursuer, and this is a slow burn. He seems clever, but is actually a bit of an idiot (meaning he has no romantic instincts).
3. Itachiyama will keep winning.
4. The protagonist has a mental illness, which will be treated later on.
5. Lots of headcanons, altered timelines, and made-up details. Readers who want strict canon accuracy, beware.
