[First time writing for practice, so the story is still rough around the edges. Please subscribe with caution, my dears!]
-> Come check out my ongoing novel, The Desperate Scholar Turns Red (GB)!
A woman disguised as a man, carefree bandit chief vs. a man disguised as a woman, harmless and delicate beauty
A fiercely loyal general's daughter vs. the scheming, sensitive youngest son of the chief minister
At fifteen, Qi Yingyu's family was massacred. She escaped with her life and became Qi Yu, third-in-command of Gou Tou Gou. Now she had no choice but to disguise herself as a man and lie low. As the most handsome, clever, and capable man in the eyes of outsiders, she had finally gotten married.
The only problem was that her bride was a breathtakingly beautiful, delicate little mute.
Qi Yingyu was at a loss. She was a woman, so asking her to take a wife and have children was absurd. So she made an agreement with her newly-wedded wife: she would protect her, and after spring came, she would take her people down the mountain.
But before long, the little bride disappeared. Qi Yingyu was frantic, suspecting someone had abducted her. Then their sworn enemy, Black Bear Stronghold, sent a threatening letter and even spread rumors that she'd married a man. She was so furious she wanted to storm the stronghold right then and there.
But then she really did feel a soft, yielding mound on her little bride.
Qi Yingyu's face turned ashen. She anxiously rubbed her face like a mosquito.
Sigh! If she's a man, then she's a man. She's still the wife Qi Yingyu married. She thought her wife was wonderful: she worried about her safety, mended her clothes, and blushed when teased. She was just too cute.
So one dark and stormy night, Qi Yingyu pinned her down, nuzzled and rubbed against her, then shamelessly kissed her on the lips.
But as the days passed, spring finally arrived.
Welcome to this gender-swapped, marriage-first, love-later, face-slapping romantic comedy.
P.S. Each chapter has a single POV. My skills are limited, so please be kind.
-> Coming soon: My Secret Affair with Chu Lang (GB)
Theme: Patriotism
I have always felt that character design is the most important thing in attracting readers to read. The female protagonist is brave, resourceful, responsible, not bothered by others, has strong mobility, is always high-spirited and reliable, and the male protagonist is delicate and kind-hearted. The interaction between the two makes my heart warm. They are two little cuties who are ill-fated and hug each other for warmth. The narration is worth watching!
So far, she looks too much like my aunt...
Don't be discouraged, the basic writing is okay, but maybe there is no outline, the plot is unfolding a bit hastily, and the characters are not thought through too clearly. It will be better if you keep writing.
It seems that the heroine has no intention of hiding her identity, why should anyone tell her?
I was so angry that I threw a thunderbolt at myself, my heroine will not have children, I reiterated again and again!!! Author, please accept it!
Yue Lao: My red thread twisted into a hemp rope is clearly tied here 😣
Should this little ass be spanked or should it be spanked 🐶 💛
Don't feel the pain first, and then try to figure it out. If it doesn't work, just give it a spanking 🥺
Be careful to watch the fun and see 🐶 on yourself
Yue Lao: It's not me, I won't take the blame [spreads hands]
