During a great battle, she is betrayed. Alone, she drives back an entire army, only to die on the battlefield.
She cannot understand why the person she trusted refused to believe her!
The gods appear, and the divine power within Yu Zhan awakens.
“There is a great fish in the Luoshi Sea. It means to churn the waters and flood Dongyu. Go and investigate the reason.”
“Remember, gods and Buddhas may save all beings, but must not kill them. There is a law in the mortal realm: gods and Buddhas must not interfere.”
“This disciple will remember.”
A cry echoes through the air, sounding as if it carries endless grievance.
“Who are you? What gives you the right to stop me?”
The great fish seethes with rage.
“Why are you so resentful? Tell me what happened.”
“What business is it of yours? Get out of my way!”
The great fish bares its teeth and advances on her, its voice full of fury.
Yu Zhan helps him take human form and quell the crisis, then gives him a name: Fu Qing.
Uphold the righteous path, and cleanse the mind of wicked thoughts!
Fu Qing keeps her kindness in his heart and searches for her throughout his life.
When they meet again, they join hands to punish evil, uphold justice, and save all beings!
