Ada was the kingdom's hero. She rescued the princess and became the first warrior in history to defeat a dragon.
But no one knew that money-loving Ada had simply made a... deal with a wealthy dragon.
One day, the king gave the hero a new demand: kill that damn dragon.
The celebrated hero accepted the mission without hesitation. Every time she set off on an adventure, she returned in triumph with spoils from defeating the dragon. She barely rested before heading out again. The entire kingdom admired Ada's courage, diligence, and cleverness.
But day after day, a month passed, then two, then half a year...
Why hadn't the dragon been killed yet?
Ada: Everything's going according to plan. She works hard every day. The knights accompanying her light a fire outside the door, and she's at it. The apprentice hero sleeps at the cave entrance, and she's at it. Even when the Hero Association holds its annual review, she's at it in the storage room. Being a hero is really hard work.
As for doing the dragon, nobody said how she had to do it.
