The Windmill and the Green Fields

Before he turned three, Fang Nanxing had no surname.

When he was one, a volunteer found him, filthy, on the side of the road, and took him to an orphanage.

Later, because he was always so eager to help that he made things worse, the old director had a sudden inspiration and said, "Then let's call this child Nanxing."

The flower language of the South Star flower is helpfulness.

When he was four, a couple came to the orphanage and took him home.

He took his adoptive father's surname and became Fang Nanxing.

A master had predicted that his adoptive parents would never have children, but when Fang Nanxing was five, they had a biological child of their own.

His adoptive parents were busy with work. They hired a nanny, but were never quite at ease, so they asked Nanxing to look after his little brother and play with him.

That's how Tang Jingming was raised by his big brother.
