When the Rewind Game begins, countless players are forcibly dragged into dungeon worlds where life and death are the stakes.
Xun Yan is a veteran who has cleared a hundred dungeons, long accustomed to finding ways to survive in the cracks between the rules. Ji Zhan is the most invincible embodiment of the rules within the dungeons. He has coldly crushed the struggles of countless players, yet made an exception for Xun Yan alone. They are natural opposites in the dungeon: hunter and prey, rules and rule-breaker. Every clash between them crackles with the threat of blades, yet each time Ji Zhan defies his programming to protect him, Xun Yan clings all the more stubbornly to a touch of madness amid the endless cycles.
But this game has never been a two-man show.
There are newcomers who steel their trembling hands and solve riddles to the tune of eerie nursery rhymes; partners who hold each other in check, pulled back and forth on the precipice between trust and betrayal; and solitary powerhouses who fight their way out of deadly traps through sheer ruthlessness. In every dungeon, people struggle, form alliances, scheme, and protect one another.
As the dungeon rules tighten again and again and the shadow of death falls over everyone, Xun Yan and Ji Zhan's bond burns through the cold programming with every breakthrough. At last, they understand that the destination of this endless rewind was never simply to clear the dungeons. It was to fight their way out of countless desperate situations and reach a future where they can stand side by side.
Theme: In the cycle of life and death across endless dungeons, mutual love breaks the fate already laid out, while the struggles of an ensemble cast reveal the humanity and bonds that endure in dire straits.
