Just as everyone believed that global evolution was heading in a positive direction, everything changed after a massive earthquake struck the world.
Numerous sinkholes appeared across Blue Star, and many people who had fallen unconscious slipped into eternal darkness.
Of those who remained, some awakened with supernatural abilities, while others never woke up and completely mutated into monsters.
Fortunately, Xia Yi's family lived outside the sinkhole zones. All three of them awakened with abilities, and Xia Yi even gained both wood and spatial abilities.
The outside world was full of danger. Luckily, their family had stocked up on plenty of supplies during the earlier shopping frenzy.
But supplies would eventually run out. Even if the government had a solution, it would take time.
Apartment buildings had become far too dangerous, so they decided to find a new, open, and safe place...
