Ling Yao and Wen Xing
One is the captain of a criminal investigation squad, the other is a newly transferred forensic pathologist.
Two people who share the same scars are brought together by fate.
As they work through baffling, sinister, and complex cases, they gradually become partners, relying on and saving each other through life and death.
Cases: human organ trafficking, trafficking in prescription drugs, trafficking in designer drugs.
The main cast's professional expertise is mixed with a little playful banter.
As the cases deepen, painful pasts emerge from the fog, and the evil lurking beneath the pursuit of profit is brought to justice.
A soul that has drifted along the knife's edge, on the brink of life and death, finally finds the light that guides it back to the human world.
In tribute to all the heroes who fought and sacrificed for peace.
May peace endure, may the world be as bright as we hope, and may they return home.
