Shen Du, 26, an ordinary office worker.
During a trip, she accidentally wandered into a hidden ancient town on the southwestern frontier, where she encountered a group of mysterious elderly people with starlight in their eyes. To survive, she made a deal with an old woman to “exchange eyes”: ten years of her life in return for a pair of unfamiliar eyes.
She survived and escaped, thinking it was all over.
But ten years later, the old woman came to her door to take back what was hers.
Shen Du discovered a secret hidden within her, one she herself didn’t even know about: a secret involving bloodlines, abilities, and a real world hidden beneath the ordinary one, inhabited by people with special abilities.
When your eyes can no longer be trusted, when your memories begin to crack, when those closest to you become strangers...
You can only trust yourself.
