When strange events began occurring all over the world, Jiang Yi, deputy squad leader of the Special Affairs Management Bureau, was ordered to investigate a bizarre case. Unexpectedly, he stumbled into layers of overlapping illusions. The old memories that kept resurfacing in the illusions pointed to a past he had completely forgotten. And the gentle man who repeatedly appeared by his side seemed to know everything, yet remained silent.
As the scale of the supernatural disturbances continued to grow, Jiang Yi realized he had long since been drawn into a carefully laid game. The deeper he dug into the illusions, the more deeply the truth was concealed. Someone was pulling the strings from behind the scenes, while someone else silently shielded him from deadly danger.
Perhaps forgetting was a form of protection, but Jiang Yi had no intention of staying in the dark.
Not scary or complicated, just a sweet little bedtime treat.

Younger top. Happy ending.
