The Crown Prince’s Treasured Pearl

Fu Yun is the daughter of a noble consort and her late husband. The emperor takes pity on her, grants her the title of county princess, and raises her in the palace.

Feeling awkward about her status, she fears the people in the palace look down on her, so she puts on a show of arrogance and domineering behavior to keep up appearances, only to end up with a tragic fate.

Reborn, Fu Yun has a realization: acting out will only make everyone despise her. She's already sixteen. If she keeps her head down, she'll be married off and out of the palace soon enough.

She also won't pine for the crown prince anymore, since he has only ever been cold and indifferent to her.
