Mo Xian, a former novelist, now an NPC in [Contract Bones].
While the other NPCs dutifully follow the script, he exploits loopholes in the rules: sneaking tickets into the cinema, rewriting guidance text in the cemetery, and dropping bombs from the sky to make players fall asleep.
Mo Xian makes D-rank permissions do S-rank tricks.
That is, until the cemetery instance ends and a ghost suddenly appears right in his face, nearly biting through his neck!
The one who saves Mo Xian is the female lead he wrote: the Immortal Emperor Bai Wudao. She flicks her Fengming Sword, the frost around her melts away, and she says, "I've been waiting for you in Contract Bones for a long time."
After Bai Wudao explains everything, the shackles on his memories shatter.
It's Contract of White Bones!
It was Mo Xian's debut novel, long sealed away on his USB drive. But in Contract Bones, it grew a physical form, struggling to crawl out and devour all his characters.
Theme: True love is rare. You have to be brave enough to pursue it.
