So where exactly did things start going wrong? A red bird hanging outside my window, my ex-boyfriend, a Bludhaven cop I broke up with three years ago, and even the Gotham playboy who gives me an overwhelming sense of deja vu. And why are there so many black-haired men?!

[Reading Guide]
1. Not a conventional power-fantasy romance (important: I really don't know what else to do; I've put this at the very top), angsty and complicated (important). At its heart, this is the story of an ordinary college student trying to survive in Gotham (?). Parallel Earths will be involved.
2. First-person, female-oriented romance. Likely to feature the whole Bat-family.
3. The ending is a happy ending based on affection, plus separate happy endings for each route.
4. More than 90% is in first person. Later on, there may be interludes or sections from the perspective of a parallel Earth in third person, depending on circumstances.
