Programmer Jiang Sui transmigrated to 1929 New York, entering through a wormhole beneath a Chinatown herbal medicine shop.

He was mistaken for the late shopkeeper's dissolute son. Having gone back 96 years, a Manhattan tech whiz had become completely useless.

To make matters worse, he got involved with that man, Zeng Yanqi, the "bastard" son of an English earl.

He had the exact same face as Jiang Sui's trash ex, but a hundred times worse in personality.

Jiang Sui had already made it clear that he didn't want to get entangled with him, yet the man insisted he was deliberately seducing him?

All Jiang Sui wanted was to secretly get into some "trade across time," bring back a few antiques, and use them to pay off his debts.

Unfortunately, the wormhole only opened for 40 minutes a day, and it had a weight limit.

His grand plan to get rich seemed a long way off, while his doomed entanglement with Zeng Yanqi became a long, drawn-out battle for survival.

As he traveled through time again and again, Jiang Sui gradually uncovered the shocking conspiracy of a certain tech tycoon.

The so-called "prescription" turned out to be secret code left behind by another time traveler.

Zeng Yanqi was annoyed.

His uncle was suffering from a strange illness and had specifically ordered him to capture some kid from an herbal shop and get a secret prescription.

His men said the guy was a smoker who sold his charms for a living.

When Zeng Yanqi met him, sure enough, he had red lips and pearly teeth, with a face made to tempt men.

Unfortunately, Zeng Yanqi wasn't falling for it. He would never be taken in by this little demon.

That said, the kid was far too full of himself!

He didn't expect him to fawn over him, but surely the next Earl of Wensley deserved a basic level of respect! Why was he always wearing that cold expression?

Wasn't he supposed to be promiscuous, willing to sleep with anyone? So what was this? Was Zeng Yanqi worse than those street thugs? How could the kid not even find him appealing?

Jiang Sui merely pressed his lips together, his long lashes trembling as he tapped his temple with one finger. In a perfectly serious tone, he said, "Mr. Zeng, I don't mean anything by this, but could something... be wrong up here?"

So devious, playing hard to get!

One day, tired of keeping up the act, Jiang Sui grabbed Zeng Yanqi and dragged him through the wormhole...

One unbelievable thing after another left the old-fashioned earl dumbfounded.

When he discovered that the driver Jiang Sui had "hired" with Uber was a Black guy, he nearly blurted out, "This N..."

Before he could finish, Jiang Sui clamped a hand over his mouth. "You could get arrested for saying that here!"

1. The bottom is not a virgin; the top is. The bottom's ex is descended from the top's cousin's branch of the family. The top is celibate and childless. The top is completely chaste, nothing to worry about.
