Second Adventure

With the construction industry in the depths of winter, Meng Shutong, the owner of a small construction company, had no choice but to work hard to find investors for her business.

Who knew she’d run into her ex-boyfriend?

She succeeded, but the price was rather steep.

People said she’d gotten ahead by using her looks. Meng Shutong paid them no mind.

Because they were telling the truth.

P.S.:

1. A short story, around 30,000 words. No outline, just writing for fun.

2. The male lead is a little extreme at first. What can you expect when he’s the one who got dumped?

3. The leads were university classmates. The main theme is rekindling an old romance.

4. Both leads are pure, both leads are pure, but this is truly melodramatic, truly melodramatic, truly melodramatic, so read at your own risk.

Theme: You will always deserve to be loved
