Xiao Qi is a two-month-old white kitten. Because he's frail and talks too much, his mother abandoned him.
But he doesn't know that he's been abandoned. He thinks he's the one who lost his mother.
On his journey to find her, Xiao Qi rummages through trash cans, sleeps in cardboard boxes, and even has to avoid people who come near.
He always fails to catch any food, and whenever that happens, he can only curl up hungry in the most secluded corner of the urban village.
Xiao Qi searches and searches for a long time, but he just can't find his mother.
Eventually, he's dusty and gray all over, nothing but a dirty little kitten.
Then one day, Xiao Qi lies in a corner, covered in wounds. Just as he is about to lose consciousness, a German Shepherd picks him up and takes him back to his den.
