Synopsis: A Mystery-Solving Journey of Self-Preservation Beginning with Rebirth
Blurb:
Xue Heng died, then came back to life.
Only after dying and returning did he learn that he had an incredibly powerful true identity: the childhood form of the great demon whom all three realms wanted dead, a creature known as a demon seed.
They said that whenever such a creature reincarnated, it was bound to unleash bloodshed and chaos. Its power was so astonishing that it could topple the three realms.
Xue Heng, who had reincarnated twice across his past and present lives, thought about what had happened to him before and the predicament he was in now. All he could say was that the rumors were definitely false.
He finally understood why he had died in his previous life. If he was born a demon and destined to die, he should never have spent so many years playing the perfect, dutiful disciple in an orthodox immortal sect.
He had figured it out in this life. He would enjoy himself to the fullest, live vibrantly and freely, leave the immortal sect, and seek freedom.
But he never expected that the identity of his new body would still make him a prospective disciple of his former sect. Xue Heng, who had lived two lives without even leaving the sect's mountain gate: “...”
Not long afterward, Xue Heng had no choice but to find a master nearby to cling to for protection if he wanted to survive: “...”
Then his former master, who had taken only him as a disciple in a hundred years and never accepted another, emerged from seclusion to take on a disciple. Xue Heng: “...”
The whole process was so smooth it felt as if he could fast-forward straight to his death in this life.
A terrible start, Xue Heng thought.

Hao Yu once had a disciple. Then the disciple died.
Then he came back to life, and then he started courting death again.
He should never have taken him as a disciple.
And he still shouldn't.
In fact, no matter when they met, their relationship should never have developed into that of master and disciple. He should have drawn his sword and cut it in two, then in four...
But there is always a but.

The overall tone is fun and sweet. The mystery is so-so, though I think you'll still fail to guess it. The main plot is the story, with family affection and genuine master-disciple affection on the side. With misunderstandings from a past life, distance between them in this life, and villains stirring up trouble, can they still get a happy ending? Of course they can.
I'll post the chapters I've already written first. Update schedule undecided.
