The Fate of a Fallen Kingdom's Princess

When A Du was young, Wen Jinghe entered the palace as a hostage prince from a defeated kingdom. A Du pitied him for being frail and bullied, and took extra care of him.

He often smiled at her gently, too.

Little did she know that he was never the gentle, virtuous gentleman he seemed.

That smile was nothing more than a disguise for his wolfish ambition. He hated the Mengze Kingdom with all his heart, and hated A Du along with it. For years, he had been plotting revenge--

And he did indeed succeed.

In a single night, A Du went from being a pampered princess to his slave. With his tacit approval, her lips were tasted by countless people, and anyone could lay a hand on her.

She hated him to the core.

A Du always believed that women should be vibrant and radiant, and that their lives should not be declared withered and dead from the moment their country fell.

She was going to escape.

She would save herself, and she would save her sisters trapped in the same prison.
