The Ocean Has No Predators Tonight
We met here.
Qin Shu and her friends ran into trouble while out at sea.
Luckily, she was rescued by a mysterious force of the ocean. That's right, a pod of orcas.
Unfortunately, one of those fish seemed to expect payment.
Qin Shu: I've lost all my dignity, inside and out. What could I possibly give you?
With no other choice, she tied the only thing she'd managed to save, a silk scarf, around its dorsal fin.
The fish stared for a moment, then swam off, satisfied (not really).
A few days later, someone was squatting outside Qin Shu's house, clutching a familiar piece of fabric.
Qin Shu: ?? The fish has turned into a person!!
Lan Jingyu looked at her like a jilted lover: angry? confused? bewildered?
Qin Shu had no choice but to take him in. From then on, a human and a fish began living together.
