Hey, Weren't We Supposed to Catch Ghosts Without Hurting the Flowers?

- Sorry, everyone. This story came to me suddenly and got accepted suddenly, but this isn't the kind of subject I'm good at. Looking back, the outline is full of plot holes. On top of that, I had no experience writing or publishing a long-form story, and I dragged things out for months. In the end, I had to admit that at this stage, I simply don't have the ability to write a long serial. After thinking it over, I've decided to go back to writing offline, stockpiling chapters and revising them repeatedly, then releasing each arc all at once once it's finished.

- I'm past the halfway point now. The romance starts in the two major arcs after Chapter 45. From now on, I won't start my next book or any of the works listed on my profile until I've finished the entire manuscript.

Ever since birth, Yu Yike had been followed by a strange floral scent that he couldn't get rid of. It was rich and full-bodied, and only he could smell it.

On the eve of the National Day holiday in his final year of high school, a letter appeared out of nowhere on Yu Yike's desk. Its logic was a complete mess, and the different handwriting made it seem as if two people were fighting over the pen and trying to get their words in.

Yu Yike turned the envelope over. On the scenic campus illustration used for the interschool letter-writing event, six elegant characters had been written: This is a love letter.

Recipient: Yu Yike, Class G301, Xingcheng No. 1 High School

Yu Yike fell into thought. Had love letters always been this eccentric?

Xiang Qingyang had a half-baked ability to see spirits. It worked sometimes and not others. The ghosts he saw were just clouds of smoke. White, black, and red ghostly blobs all gave him a wide berth. In his fifteen years of life, he'd spotted fewer than five spirits who looked human enough to talk to.

High school life wasn't any different from before. Xiang Qingyang lived at school, following the same three-point route between his dorm, classrooms, and cafeteria. Every day he slept well, studied well, and ate well. That was until the end of the semester, when he stepped onto the stage at the year-end awards ceremony. Standing beside the top student from the class four rooms down, he turned his head and unexpectedly locked eyes with something that was neither human nor ghost.

*Warnings:

1. Primarily from the gong's perspective. One-on-one, both are sexually inexperienced. Yu is the gong, Xiang is the shou.

2. No explicit secondary couples. How you interpret the relationships between side characters is up to you.

3. Includes supernatural and bloody descriptions. It shouldn't be too scary, because the protagonist is so brave that he's not afraid at all (?).

4. (Spoilers) The gong cross-dresses, there are scenes where the gong is attracted to the shou's appearance, and the gong falls first but the shou confesses first. It all comes from my peculiar tastes and poor writing skills, so please read the warnings carefully before starting, in case it upsets you.

Starting on 4.16. Check the announcements for updates. I'll fix minor plot holes that don't affect the reading experience, and censored parts, after the story is complete.
