The Cold-Faced One Lost a Lifetime to the Sunny Heroine

Shen Zh ide has no virtue. She is an utterly stubborn cold-face fanatic.

When making friends, she has to befriend cold-faced people. When falling in love, she has to date cold-faced people. Even when picking a fight! She has to choose someone cold, ruthless, utterly expressionless, and cold-faced!

Shen Zhide: Cold faces are the best (excited JPG.)

At last, one day, Shen Zhide met her cold-faced treasure: Dao Lord Ying Jingren.

Dao Lord Ying had spent three hundred years cultivating the Heartless Dao, with two hundred and eighty years of that time spent in seclusion. In the twenty years he had been out in the world, he met Shen Zhide.

Dark, gloomy water meets the blazing sun.

Let's evaporate!

Ying Jingren, whether in the past, the present, or the future, could never have anything to do with Shen Zhide.

When she swore solemnly, thumping her chest as she loudly promised to treat him well for the rest of her life...

The young woman's brilliant eyes were reflected in Ying Jingren's indifferent gaze. In his heart, there was only scorn:

She would never know how well he understood her.

She had long since forgotten that the first man she promised never to abandon was the human incarnation of his inner demon.

"Most Dao Lords only need to spend twenty or thirty years in seclusion. Someone like Dao Lord Ying, who has spent more than two hundred years in hard cultivation, is truly a rarity."

Why did she think he had spent two hundred and eighty years in seclusion?

She must have forgotten him long ago, Shen Zhide.

Shen Zhide was going crazy. All she'd done was post a single comment beneath a thread on the Immortal Alliance forum discussing how adorably cold-faced Ying Jingren was, and she'd ended up being relentlessly hunted down by someone.

So much for freedom of speech!

Her best friend asked, "What did you post?"

Shen Zhide, righteous and indignant, said, "Just two words: 'Sure, sure.' Who did those two words offend?"

Her best friend asked, "Then why did you post them?"

Shen Zhide replied matter-of-factly, "Someone said in the thread that they were taking in a little sun, so I thought I'd found my people."

Her best friend said, "...A little sun is a spirit artifact."

"Who posted that they were taking in a little sun?"

"Oh my god, it was Dao Lord Ying Jingren."
