[Showbiz] A Cycle of Passionate Love with the Top-Tier Star Captain

Literary blurb:

In the summer of 2019, Song Qiaowei came to Korea for work and met Kwon Ji Yong, who happened to be on vacation, outside a tiny CD shop.

As “Last Dance” played, she walked into the shop while he passed by outside.

We knew nothing about each other. Seventy-two hours later, we fell in love.

Official blurb:

On August 19, 2019, the red-hot rising star Song Qiaowei came to Korea to promote her new film. A change in her schedule left her with an unexpected day off.

The day after her rest day ended, Song Qiaowei opened her eyes in shock to find that the previous day hadn’t ended. August 19 had started all over again.

She thought she was dreaming. She tried everything, from going about her normal life and seeing a doctor to praying to the gods, but in the end she had no choice but to accept that she really was caught in a Groundhog Day loop.

She was stuck on this day!

Luckily, she was a little more fortunate than the lonely groundhog. There was another unlucky man trapped in the loop with her.

Their apparent pairing:

A hugely popular actress vs. an idol group leader who’s reached the top again and again

Their real pairing:

A cold loner vs. a wounded, broken dragon

Content warnings:

1. The male and female leads aren’t perfect people. They have successes and disappointments, good fortune and regrets, and there are depictions of dark personality traits.

2. The heroine is a rising star in the Chinese entertainment industry. All Chinese entertainment figures, works, and awards mentioned are fictional and have no real-life counterparts.

3. They save each other. There’s not much angst; fundamentally, this is a sweet story about the two of them.

4. The entertainment industry doesn’t feature heavily.

Theme: In an endless loop of life, every day matters
