Li Xuan suffers from eczema and moves out of her damp home. To her surprise, she ends up sharing a place with an old classmate, though she can barely remember him... He's so handsome, the kind of person who stands out in a crowd... How could she have forgotten him?
Ling Yi is not only handsome, but an excellent cook as well.
With eczema, Li Xuan has to avoid all sorts of foods. At first, Ling Yi's cooking simply tastes familiar to her, and she doesn't think much of it.
After she recovers and no longer has to watch what she eats, she asks Ling Yi to make the dishes her classmate's mother used to bring her in her senior year of high school. She misses them dearly, and the more she eats, the more familiar they seem.
She still assumes it's just because Ling Yi is such a good cook!
One day, while looking through Ling Yi's notes, Li Xuan sees this:
After all these years, her tastes have changed. She likes carrots now.
She doesn't mind peeling kiwifruit anymore.
She doesn't like cilantro, but now she adds it to her hot pot dipping sauce.
She used to love sweet things, but now she prefers sour ones.
Ling Yi learns from someone else that Li Xuan's parents aren't around. Her senior year of high school was her most stressful time, and she ate the same few things every day, none of them nutritious. Ling Yi decides to help her get the nourishment she needs.
He asks Li Xuan's friend to deliver meals to her in her mother's name.
Ling Yi quietly keeps notes:
She doesn't like carrots and hardly eats them...
She seems to love shrimp. I can make extra...
She doesn't like tomato and egg stir-fry. I won't make it again...
She really likes beef...
Premise: Eat well and love life.
I came here to see you. There are no blank lines between paragraphs. It makes it difficult to read. I suggest you change it. Or the writing is not good and the perspective is confusing. The male protagonist's profession is quite novel.
