[Luo Xiaohei] The Little Things Between Friends

Writing this for love, and to keep myself happy~

Chen Si sipped juice. "I've been meaning to ask, why are you called Jia? Is it like 'John Doe'?"

Xiao Jia drank an Americano. "...It's the first of the Heavenly Stems. My master named me."

Chen Si: "Aren't you going to ask why I'm called Chen Si?"

Jia: "...Why?"

Chen Si: "I'm not telling you."

Jia: "Oh."

Chen Si rocked back and forth in a rocking chair.

"Ze Yu, can you make yourself smaller?"

"?"

"You were more fun when you were little."

"..."

How can a corporate drone be fun?

● This is written to help me relax. Please don't overanalyze it, and sorry for any out-of-character moments.

● On April 29, 2026, I'll release the whole thing at once. It's about 30,000 words, a short story.

● The original pairing was Jia, but while writing, I realized Chen Si and Ze Yu are also a fun pairing. Chen Si and Ze Yu grew up together, but by the time I finished, nothing had really developed between Chen Si and either of them. The charm of Luo Xiaohei is that the relationships are all platonic.

● Planning two bonus chapters, one pairing Ze Yu, and one pairing Xiao Jia.

Theme: So, writing this for love? Yeah, that's right.
